mdpeek is a native macOS Markdown reader & editor, built on the system WebView — fast to launch, small in size, gentle on battery. Open a folder and the tree quietly hides `node_modules` and other dependency directories, so your writing stays focused.
Preview or edit with one toggle. Side tree and outline keep long documents manageable. Light/dark follows your system.
Pro speeds up writing
- **AI polish / continue / translate** — selection-based, diff-style review, never silently overwrites
- **Library Q&A** — semantic answers over the current folder, with source citations
- **WeChat draft publish** — local images replaced with accessible URLs, draft id written back to frontmatter

API keys are encrypted at rest. Never uploaded, never sent to the front-end.
